Are all e-bikes UL Certified?
Currently, there are no universal mandates requiring all e-bikes to have UL certification. However, VTUVIA has taken the initiative to prioritize safety by ensuring that models like the SF20H, SN100, and CMB are UL-certified. Additionally, all future VTUVIA e-bikes will meet UL standards to uphold this commitment to rider safety.
Despite this progress, non-UL-certified e-bikes still exist in the market. These uncertified models pose potential risks, such as fire hazards or electrical malfunctions, which can negatively impact consumer trust and the overall perception of e-bikes as a safe and reliable transportation option.
