What Can Be Purchased with an E-Bike Rebate Voucher?

With the California E-Bike Rebate Voucher, you can use the funds to purchase more than just the e-bike itself. Here’s what’s covered:

  • Eligible E-Bike: The primary item, of course, is the eligible e-bike itself. Make sure it meets the program’s criteria for rebates.
  • Accessories: You can also purchase essential accessories to enhance your e-bike experience, such as:
    • Helmet
    • Bike Lock
    • Racks and Baskets
    • Fenders
    • Mirrors
    • Reflective Clothing
    • Lights (if not already included with the e-bike)
  • Assembly and Delivery Fees: The incentive voucher can also cover the cost of assembling your e-bike and any delivery fees.
  • Sales Tax: The sales tax associated with the eligible e-bike and accessories can be included in the voucher.

Important Notes:

  • Accessories are only eligible when purchased at the same time as the e-bike from an approved retailer.
  • Limit: Only one accessory item per purchase is eligible for the rebate voucher.

This comprehensive coverage helps make your e-bike purchase even more affordable while ensuring you have everything needed to get started safely and comfortably.
